A story about a River Forest native who was found alive and well after having gone missing for nearly a week in the Montana wilderness has a Riverside connection.

Madeline Connelly, who was found May 10 along with her dog, Mogie, in the Great Bear Wilderness in Flathead County in northwestern Montana, is the niece of Riverside resident Michael Connelly.

Timothy Inklebarger, reporter for Wednesday Journal, the Landmark's sister paper, has the full story.
