A couple of weeks back, the Riverside-Brookfield Landmark revealed that the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed residence known as the Coonley Playhouse at 350 Fairbank Road in Riverside was about to go on the market.

The article included information gleaned from an interview with the home's owner Ted Smith, who has relocated to Florida and is selling the kindergarten-turned-single-family residence.

At the time we published our article, the listing broker, Mike McCurry, hadn't yet shot photos for the listing, which just went active today at a price of $800,000, according to this story from Crain's Chicago Business.

The article includes several photos of the interior, including the authentically reproduced art glass windows that made the Cooley Playhouse a favorite in the Wright oeuvre.
