Riverside Parks and Recreation and state Rep. Michael Zalewski will host the summer Movie in the Park on Friday, July 29 at the Big Ball Park, Delaplaine and Longcommon roads. Activities begin at 6:45 p.m., with a screening of the movie Zootopia set to start at dusk.

Prior to the movie, attendees can enjoy appearances by animals from Brookfield Zoo. In addition, members of the Riverside Police Department will be on hand with safety tips and giveaways.

Aunt Diana’s Fudge will be selling sweets and there will be interactive photo and craft areas for all ages.

Zootopia is an animated Disney movie set in a mammal metropolis, following the exploits of police officer Judy Hopps, a rabbit intent on cracking a mysterious case along with her partner, a fox named Nick Wylde.

Admission is free and open to the public.
