Tickets are on sale for the Third Annual HopStop Craft Beer Festival, to be held at the downtown Riverside train station at 90 Bloomingbank Road on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 4 to 7 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the Frederick Law Olmsted Society and Riverside Foods and will feature craft beer and spirits from more than 15 area brewers and distillers, including Riverside's own Quincy Street Distillery.

Other featured companies include Brickstone Brewing, BuckleDown Brewing, Citizens Cider, Flapjack Brewing, Forbidden Root, Goose Island, Hailstorm Brewing, Noon Whistle Brewing, Pollyanna Brewing, Pipeworks, Right Bee Cider, Safehouse Brewing, Spiteful Brewing and Whiner Brewing, among others.

Food will be available for purchase from a pair of Riverside businesses, Sawmilly and Mollie's Public House, and live music will include performances by HopsLager, Dr. Don and the Boogie Monsters, and the Riverside-Brookfield High School a cappella ensemble.

New this year will be art classes for kids age 5 and older ($5 donation) provided by the Riverside Arts Center. The event is also promoting itself as a zero-waste event; Flood Brothers will provide the recycling services.

Tickets to the event are $35 each and include a commemorative tasting glass. They can be purchased online at www.riversidehopstop.com. Proceeds from the event benefit the Frederick Law Olmsted Society.
