RB boys volleyball struggles at invitational

Riverside-Brookfield struggled at the Downers Grove North Invitational over the weekend, dropping four of five matches. After losses to Medea Valley, Downers Grove North, Willow brook and Joliet Catholic, the Bulldogs (12-12) salvaged the day with a 23-25, 37-35, 25-22 victory against Homewood Flossmoor.

RB also closed out its home schedule with an impressive 25-9, 25-22 wins over Payton on Thursday. The Bulldogs are on the road the remainder of their season, starting with matches at Hinsdale South and at St. Charles East.
