RB boys volleyball finish fifth at invitational

RB finished fifth at the Willowbrook Invitational last week. After splitting their first four matches of the tournament, the Bulldogs (19-14) beat Leyden 25-22, 25-17 to win the consolation championship. Jack Gibson (6 kills, 2 aces), Jake Fieseler (10 digs, 2 aces) and Joe Sauer (5 kills) against the Eagles, who lost to RB three times last week.

For the week, Rich Green recorded 119 assists, 17 kills and 55 digs, while Jack McCarthy had 35 kills and 12 blocks as RB won five of seven matches.
