Trevizo finishes fourth in 800 at state
Senior first in school history to qualify for state in 4 events

Riverside-Brookfield senior Travis Trevizo capped off his stellar high school track career in style by taking fourth place in the 800-meter run at the Class 2A State finals on Saturday.
Trevizo, who became the first RB athlete in school history to qualify for state in four events, ran a time of 1:56.33. In addition to the 800, Trevizo competed in the 4 x 800, 1600-meter run and the 4 x 400 at Eastern Illinois over the weekend. Along with five other teams, the Bulldogs finished 39th overall, scoring six points.
Grayslake Central's Luke Zygmunt won the 800 event clocking in at 1:55.24.
