So shocked to see this. Sam and Jan were our next door neighbors in Maywood when we bought our first home. They took two young newly weds under their wings and introduced us to so many new experiences, like camping, a service career in law enforcement, and how to cut up chickens so that they stretched as far as possible. Somehow, we always thought Sam would live forever. God bless you, Sam, for a Christian life well lived. 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
