Ten Riverside Brookfield High School student musicians earned All-State honors and were selected to participate in the 2020 Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) All-State Festival.
All-State musicians and their teachers, Choral Director Aubrey Prince, Band Director James Baum and Orchestra Director Spencer Frie traveled to Peoria, from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1 to participate in the Illinois Music Education Conference.
Two students attended special seminars.
Junior Haley Rayfield, was nominated by her teacher and was one of two students chosen from District 1 to participate in the ILMEA All-State Future Music Educators Seminar along with 53 other students from around the state.
Senior Cameron Winkler participated in the All-State Composition Track which allows exceptional student composers to work with active composers and artists, and collaborate with other composers.
