Eleanore K. Kutschke, 83, Brookfield homemaker
Eleanore K. Kutschke (nee Konigsmark), 83, died Aug. 16, 2005 at her Brookfield home.

Born in Berwyn on Sept. 21, 1921 to Frank and Pauline Konigsmark, she married Norman J. Kutschke, and the couple raised three children. Mr. Kutschke preceded his wife in death.

Ms. Kutschke is survived by her daughter, Carol (Charles) Rydlewski; her sons, Kenneth (Cynthia) Kutschke and Thomas A. (Diane) Kutschke; and four grandchildren.

A funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Joel A. Brondos, was held Aug. 19 at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Brookfield, which handled arrangements. Interment followed in Chapel Hill Gardens West in Oakbrook Terrace.

George J. Likar, 80, Cabinet maker
George J. Likar, a Brookfield resident who worked as a cabinet maker, died at his home on Aug. 17, 2005. He was 80 years old.

Mr. Likar was born in Chicago to George and Tillie Likar on March 19, 1925. He served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Florence Likar of Brookfield; his son, George (Terry) Likar; his daughter, Jan (Jim) Konchar; and his grandchildren, Peter, Jennifer and John.

Funeral services and interment were private. Memorial contributions were appreciated to St. Thomas Hospice, 8230 S. Madison, Burr Ridge, Ill. 60527.
