Leonard Ryndak, 82, WWII Army Air Corps veteran
Leonard Ryndak passed away at Oak Park Hospital on Oct. 28, 2005 at the age of 82. He was a long-time resident of North Riverside. An office worker for Youngstown Steel, he served with the Army Air Corps during World War II.

Mr. Ryndak is survived by his sister, Dolores (Tom) Prapor; his nephews and nieces, Linda (Bob) Carroll, Colleen (Barry) Morris, Cort (Karen) Regan, and Cindy (Bob) Cheely; and eight great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home on Oct. 29. A funeral mass was celebrated at St. Luke Church in River Forest on Oct. 31, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery.

Michael McCann, 44, landscaper
Michael McCann, 44, died on Oct. 29, 2005 at MacNeal Hospital. He was a resident of Berwyn, having moved there from Oak Park. He was self-employed in landscape management.

Mr. McCann is survived by his father, Thomas (Josephine) McCann; his mother, Argentina (nee Sanchez); his brother, Thomas McCann; his sisters, Pamela and Veronica McCann; and his children, Ashley and Michael, Jr.

Visitation and funeral services were held Nov. 5 at Kuratko Funeral Home in North Riverside, followed by cremation.
