Robert H. Baggech, 85, Inspector for Bechtel Corp.
Robert Harold Baggech, a Brookfield resident, died April 21, 2006 at the Illinois Veterans Home in Manteno, two days after his 85th birthday.

Born in Chicago on April 19, 1921 to George and Pauline Baggech, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was later employed as an inspector for the Bechtel Corporation.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Baggech (nee Sanders); his daughter, Melody Ann (Alan Marshall) Baggech of Manteno; his son, Lennis (Rachel) Baggech; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Aidan, Cholie, Adeline, Anneka and Isaac; and his sister, Millie (Jack) Clarke.

A funeral service was held April 24 at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Brookfield, followed by interment in Fairmount-Willow Hills Memorial Park in Willow Springs.

 

Stanley L. Czarnik, 83, Worked for technology company
Stanley L. Czarnik, 83, a resident of Brookfield, died April 14, 2006 at Edward Hines Jr. V.A. Hospital in Maywood.

Born in Chicago on May 7, 1922 to Mr. and Mrs. Stanislaus Czarnik, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was employed at Methode Technology Inc. in Chicago prior to his retirement.

Mr. Czarnik is survived by his wife, Shirley Czarnik (nee Legieza) of Brookfield; his daughters, Martha Ann (Lance) Thompson, Charity (William) Geary, Faith Czarnik and Hope (John) Scimeca; and nine grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was celebrated April 17 at St. Louise de Marillac Church in LaGrange Park, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

Memorial contributions were appreciated to the St. Louise de Marillac Church Millennium Fund, 1144 Harrison Ave., LaGrange Park, Ill. 60526.
