Louise Griffith, 90, Riverside homemaker
Riverside resident Louise Griffith (nee McCoy), 90, died May 20, 2006 at the Scottish Home in North Riverside.
A homemaker and wife of the late Dr. Paul Griffith, she is survived by her son, David (Jill) Griffith; and her grandchildren, Allison, Brad, Schuyler and Rush. Ms. Griffith was preceded in death by her son, Richard P. (Gail) Griffith, and her daughter, Carolyn Jane Griffith.
Visitation is today, May 24, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Ivins Funeral Home, 80 E. Burlington St., Riverside. A funeral service follows immediately. Interment will be at Mount Auburn Cemetery, Stickney.
Dorothy A. Ludwick, 73, Brookfield homemaker
Dorothy A. Ludwick (nee Kolinski), 73, a Brookfield resident for 45 years, died May 17, 2006 at LaGrange Memorial Hospital.
She married Thomas Ludwick on Feb. 6, 1960 at Immaculate Conception Church in Chicago, and the couple moved to Brookfield in 1961, raising four children. A homemaker, Ms. Ludwick was also an avid bingo player and liked playing other games of chance.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas; her sons, John Ludwick and Joe Ludwick; her daughter, Anna (Matt) Brandenburg; and her brother, Peter Kolinski; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Ludwick.
A funeral Mass was celebrated May 22 at St. Barbara Church, Brookfield, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
Memorial contributions were appreciated to the American Heart Association.

Carolyn F. Price, 65, Replogle Globes employee
Carolyn F. Price (nee Ervin), 65, died May 16, 2006 at her Brookfield home.
Born on Aug. 26, 1940 to James and Mary Ervin in Lexington, Tenn., she married Pete Price and lived in Brookfield for 40 years. For 19 years, Ms. Price worked as a billing clerk at Replogle Globes in Broadview.
She is survived by her husband, Pete Price; her son, David (Debbie) Price; her grandchildren, Dylan Price, Tabatha Price, Cole Price and Nick Price; her brother, Jim Ervin; her sister, Connie Shanks; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Ray L. Gaddy and Pastor William Hargadon, was held May 19 at Hitzeman Funeral Home in Brookfield, followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park.
Fred T. Werner, 56, Navy veteran
Mr. Werner was born May 24, 1949 in Berwyn to Fred L. and Florence Werner, who preceded their son in death.
He is survived by his sisters, Wanda (Karol) Leonard, Dawn (Doug) Anderson and Bonnie (Tony) Cervone; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and interment were private.

Rea E. Williamson, 69, Electrician, scout master
Rea E. Williamson, a 40-year resident of Brookfield, died May 17, 2006 at LaGrange Memorial Hospital at the age of 69.
A former resident of Centralia, Ill., Mr. Williamson was a union electrician, who worked for 38 years for Berry Electric Co. He was also a member of the executive board of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 134.
In addition, Mr. Williamson was involved in scouting, serving as scout master of Brookfield Troop 87. He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and loved his nine “grand dogs.”
Mr. Williamson is survived by his wife, Geraldine Williamson; his sons, Matthew (Amy) Williamson and Raymond Williamson; his daughters, Theresa (Mitchell) Dziedzic and Jennifer (David) Brady; his sister, Patricia Stauder; and six grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was celebrated May 20 at St. Barbara Church, Brookfield, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.
Memorial contributions were appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
