Florence H. Killian, 79, of Brookfield, died Aug. 17, 2009 at Foster G. McGaw Hospital on the campus of Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.
Born in Chicago on Oct. 27, 1929 to Joseph and Cecilia (nee Sirovatka) Killian, she was one of six children in the family and later worked at a hospital in a clerical capacity. She was active at both St. Agnes of Bohemia and St. Barbara churches as a member of the choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her siblings, Raymond Killian, Victor Killian, Ralph Killian, Gertrude Killian and Mary Killian.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Aug. 19 at St. Barbara Church, Brookfield, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
Memorial masses in Ms. Killian’s named are appreciated.
