Riverside-Brookfield High School students, staff and parents will be out in force to help senior citizens in the district during the school’s annual Bulldogs Give Back Community Service Day scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This is the fourth year the school has encouraged its students to participate in the day of service, during which they will help senior citizens with yard work, minor home repairs, computer problems and errands.

Senior citizens of District 208 can request students’ help by filling out a card and listing what needs to be done. Cards are available at the RBHS, 160 Ridgewood, Riverside; the Riverside Township Hall, 27 Riverside Road, Riverside; North Riverside Village Commons, 2401 Desplaines Ave.; and local libraries. Or senior citizens can call Betty Sharp at the high school at 442-7500, ext. 2110.

Cards are due back to RB by Oct. 7.
