For the 2009-10 school year, Riverside-Brookfield High School hired a new company, Quest Management, to handle its food service operation. We asked Dawn Ives, food service director at RB, what items were top with students so far in 2009. Here’s the list:
1. Barbecue rib sandwich
2. Meatball sub
3. Italian beef
4. Burritos
5. Pasta bar
6. Calzones
7. Pizza
8. Chicken tornado wrap sandwich
9. Chicken noodle soup
10. Bourbon chicken (with rice, noodles, egg roll)
Ives pointed out that all of those items, save soup and pizza, come with vegetables and salad.
