Rita P. Albano, 91, Former North Riverside resident
Rita P. Albano (nee Caprio), 91, of Surprise, Ariz., and formerly of North Riverside, died Feb. 22, 2010.
She was born on Aug. 21, 1918 and married Alphonse J. Albano, who preceded his wife in death. Ms. Albano is survived by her children, Frank J. (Charlene) Albano Sr. and Joel (Barbara) Albano; her grandchildren, Frank J. (Krissy) Albano Jr., Jeffrey Albano, Robert (Lisa) Albano, Christopher Albano and Nicholas Albano; and her great grandchildren, Abigail, Kaitlin, Emily, Olivia and Zachary.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated March 1 at 9:30 a.m. at Mater Christi Church in North Riverside, followed by interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Hillside.

Karyn A. Duffy, 46, Worked at Cole Taylor Bank
Brookfield resident Karyn A. Duffy (nee Rose), 46, died Feb. 17, 2010.
Ms. Duffy was senior vice-president of the Special Assets Group at Cole Taylor Bank and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of LaGrange, where she was active in various ministries and in the congregation.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin Duffy; her children, Meghan Duffy and Katelyn Duffy; her parents, John and Sharon Rose; her father- and mother-in-law, Leo and Mary Therese Duffy; her siblings, Julie Rose-Skifano and Lisa Rose; and many nieces and nephews.

Nena G. Padilla, 53, of Brookfield, died Feb. 15, 2010.
She was born in Mexico City on Dec. 12, 1956 to Leopoldo and Teresa (nee Langle) Padilla and worked as a legal administrator prior to her death.
She is survived by her mother; her sisters, Norma (Steven) Bousquet, Maggie (John) Munger, Rosalinda Czajkowski and Cristina (Jose) Hernandez; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Feb. 18 at Hitzeman Funeral Home in Brookfield.
