A much-anticipated special Riverside-Brookfield High School District 208 board meeting tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, March 23 has been cancelled, RB announced today.
Decisions on budget cuts for next year will instead be made at the school board’s regular meeting on April 13. Interim Superintendent David Bonnette said that the school needs to finish student registration and class assignments for the next school year before the board can make final decisions on possible cuts in staff.
“We’re really not far enough along with the student scheduling and staff sectioning process at this point so that I can really be specific in terms of the kind of staff reductions that I would recommend,” Bonnette said this morning.
