Marlene H. Lis (nee Drog), 72, a resident of Willowbrook and former resident of Brookfield, died June 14, 2010 at LaGrange Memorial Hospital.
Born in Chicago on Sept. 18, 1937 to Walter and Helen Drog, she married Joseph V. Lis and was employed as a teacher. Mr. Lis survives his wife. Ms. Lis was preceded in death by her daughter, Christine.
Ms. Lis is also survived by her children, Kathy (Rick) Gornik of Willowbrook and Laurie (Jeff) Wilhoit, and her grandchildren, Lauren Gornik and Heather Gornik.
A funeral Mass was celebrated June 18 at St. Louise de Marillac Church in LaGrange Park, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
