Ms. Lossin was born on July 22, 1924 and was married to Clarence R. Lossin, who preceded his wife in death.
A longtime resident of the village, Ms. Lossin worked at several Riverside businesses, including Pringles Flower Shop and Aunt Diana’s Candy Makers. She also worked for the Helping Hand School, and was a lifelong sports enthusiast, especially for the Chicago Cubs.
Ms. Lossin is survived by her children, Sarah (the late Carl) Nielsen, Jon (Sally) Lossin and Ruth (Richard) Julian; her granddaughter, Nora (Pete) Durbin; and here sisters, Joyce and Mary. She was preceded in death by her brother, Boyd.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home, 80 E. Burlington St. in Riverside.
