Former North Riverside resident Lilyan L. Cisar (nee Vesecky), 94, died July 30, 2010.
Born on Jan. 17, 1916, she married Edward Cisar, who preceded his wife in death. Ms. Cisar’s father founded the Vesecky Bakery in Berwyn, which is still family owned for more than a century.
Ms. Cisar is survived by her daughter, Deanne Kalamaras; her grandchildren, Dawn Kalamaras, Cynthia (Robert) Farrar and Lisa (Steven) Byers; her great grandchildren, Ryan Farrar, Bradley Farrar, Alyse Farrar, Jake Byers, Brandon Byers and Alexa Byers. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ann Lenke, James Vesecky and Mildred Litinsky.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4 at Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home, 80 E. Burlington St., Riverside. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Aug. 5 at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park.
