Former Brookfield resident Raymond Otto Konopasek, 62, died Oct. 12, 2010, at his home in Naperville.
Mr. Konopasek was born in Berwyn on Jan. 12, 1948, to Raymond A. and Lorraine M. (nee Prueske) Konopasek. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and worked as a technician.
He is survived by his sister, Laura H. Konopasek, of Brookfield; his friend, Donna Jean Puccini; and his aunt, Elsie (the late Bill) Jicka. He was preceded in death by his parents; his uncle, Emil Konopasek; his aunt, Vi Konopasek; and his great aunt, Pauline Wahl.
A funeral service was held Oct. 16 at Hitzeman Funeral Home in Brookfield, which handled arrangements.
Memorial donations are appreciated to a favorite charity.
