The Riverside Community Events Council, in cooperation with the Riverside Department of Parks and Recreation, invites all residents of the community to “Hullabalooza,” an event that not only provides a family-friendly evening of recreation activities but also serves as a thank you to past and present athletes, volunteers and business sponsors and Riverside recreation board members and staff.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 13, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the field house at Riverside-Brookfield High School, 160 Ridgewood Road. Admission is free.

Kids are asked to wear Riverside Recreation soccer, basketball, baseball or softball shirts and jerseys so they can be recognized for their participation in the recreation department programs. Coaches and parents are asked to bring team plaques and photos to display.

Attendees will be able to scale the rock climbing wall, traverse the Chicago Fire inflatable obstacle course or participate in a mini-triathlon, Wiffle Ball game or soccer match.

In addition, there will be food from Mi Casita, Mollie’s Public House and Soul Amici; sweets from Carol Barlow; and chair massages, compliments of Multicare Health Center. There will also be a raffle to benefit Riverside Recreation with prizes from local businesses and the Chicago Fire soccer team.
