Marie Nortier (nee Steiner), 87, of Brookfield, died Dec. 1, 2010.
Ms. Nortier lived in the same house in Brookfield where she was born on Feb. 2, 1923 to Anton and Mae (nee Cerny) Steiner. She married James C. Nortier, who preceded his wife in death, and raised two children.
She is survived by her sons, James E. (Michelle) Nortier and Robert A. (Lisa) Nortier; her grandchildren, Brittny C. (Tony) Belsan, Ian A. Fitzgerald, James W. Nortier, Luke M. Nortier and Robbie A. Nortier; her sister, Lillian (the late Edward) Krogh; and many nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by her brothers, Edward (Pauline) Steiner and Charles (Leona) Steiner.
A funeral service was held Dec. 6 at Hitzeman Funeral Home in Brookfield, followed by interment at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Stickney.
