Elena Laura “Nina” Lisowski, 23, of Brookfield, died Jan. 16, 2011, at LaGrange Memorial Hospital.
Ms. Lisowski attended Congress Park School in Brookfield and graduated from Park Junior High in LaGrange Park in 2001. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in Westchester, where she was a member of the school band, in 2005.
For the last several months, Ms. Lisowski worked as a receptionist and hair shampooer at Broadway Hair Salon in Brookfield.
She is survived by her daughter, Harmony Krista Baker-Lisowski; her parents, Henry and Mary Ann (nee Haburn) Lisowski; her brother, Theodore Lisowski; and her grandmother, Helen Lisowski.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 21, at Johnson Funeral Home, 3845-47 Prairie Ave. in Brookfield.
On Saturday, Jan. 22, she will lie in state at Grace Lutheran Church, Catherine and Ogden avenues in LaGrange, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., when there will be a funeral service. Interment will be private.
