St. Mary School in Riverside announced it will be closed Thursday.
St. Mary School in Riverside announced today that due to the blizzard warning school will be dismissed at Noon today, Tuesday, Feb. 1. Parents unable to pick up their child by noon should call the school. Children will remain inside the Parish Center until parents arrive. All after-school activities, including the LEAD Program, are cancelled for today.
Riverside Public Library will close at 3 p.m. today and will be closed all day tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 2. Residents can check the library’s website, www.riversidelibrary.org, for updates.
Brookfield Public Library will close at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb.1. Royko in Love, with David Royko has been postponed until Feb. 17. Residents can check the library’s website, www.brookfieldpubliclibrary.info, for updates.
The Riverside Police Pension Board announced that their meeting scheduled for Thursday Feb. 3, at 8 a.m. has been cancelled. The meeting will be rescheduled in the near future.
Lyons Township High School has cancelled all after-school and evening athletics and activities, including adult education classes and the driver education open house, for Tuesday. Due to inclement weather, the high school will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 2.
Riverside-Brookfield High School announced that all athletic events and after-school programs scheduled for tonight are cancelled. The community wellness class will not meet tonight and the parent meeting for the choir’s Disney trip has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Feb. 8. The high school will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 2. Classes will resume on Thursday, Feb. 3, but will start at 10 a.m.
St. Barbara School in Brookfield announced that the school will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 2. Hot lunches have been cancelled for the remainder of this week. All students need to bring a lunch on Thursday and Friday.
Lyons-Brookfield District 103 has cancelled all after-school activities for Tuesday, Feb. 1, and Wednesday, Feb. 2. This includes the music concert scheduled for George Washington Middle School. All District 103 schools will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 2.
LaGrange-LaGrange Park-Brookfield District 102 announced that all after-school activities are cancelled for all schools this afternoon Tuesday, Feb. 1. BASE will still run as usual this afternoon. All District 102 schools will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 2.
St. Louise de Marillac School in LaGrange Park announced that school will be closed tomorrow Wednesday, Feb. 2.

Komarek School District 94 in North Riverside announced that schools will be closed tomorrow Wednesday, Feb. 2.
Brookfield Zoo will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 2. Please note that all scheduled activities for Wednesday have been canceled, including Groundhog Day activities.
The Frederick Law Olmsted Society of Riverside has cancelled its board meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 1.
St. Pauls Lutheran School, Brookfield will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 2.
Brookfield Village Management storm update:
Due to the severity of the winter storm, the Administrative offices at the Village will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 2, and will re-open Thursday, Feb. 3 at 8:30 a.m. The Village encourages residents to stay off the roads and limit their outside travel to emergency purposes only.

Village Hall will be closed Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 3:00 p.m. and all day Wednesday, Feb. 2 to general business (village stickers, parking permits, building permits, water billing, etc). The Police, Fire and Public Works Departments will be open 24 hours during the storm.
