I am writing to endorse Art Perry for election to the Riverside School District 96 Board of Education. I have had the opportunity to get to know Art over the past seven years. Art’s insight has been valuable on many committees that he has volunteered for through the school district and also his commitment as an involved parent with Cub Scout Pack 24.
He is a technology professional, which makes him an invaluable asset for the District 96 Board of Education.
It is critical that we elect school board members who will possess good critical judgment and interpersonal skills, as well as a firm grasp of the role of the school board. Art has these qualities.
Art is a great problem solver and, in addition, he seeks input and thoughtfully reviews complex issues to come to a decision. He also has a proven ability to work as part of a team and has a clear understanding of the needs of the students, the district and the taxpayers.
