Ann P. Pierce (nee Maciuszek), 95, of Hoffman Estates, and a former longtime resident of Brookfield, died April 4, 2011, at Devonshire of Hoffman Estates.

Born in Chicago on March 12, 1916, to Martin and Mary Maciuszek, she later married Rudolph S. Pierce, who preceded his wife in death. She worked as an assembler at a printing company and was a member of the St. Louise de Marillac Friendship Club.

Ms. Pierce is survived by her siblings, Stanley (Louise) Maciuszek, Rose Kline, Helen Okoniewski and Joseph (Shirley) Maciuszek. She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Maciuszek, and her sisters, Sophie Zenisek and Eleanor Tolowski.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 9, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 31st St. in Brookfield, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Louise de Marillac Church, 30th Street and Raymond Avenue, in LaGrange Park. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
