Norma A. Sorini (nee Mazzetti), 83, of Darien, and formerly of LaGrange Park and Brookfield, died July 3, 2011 at Burgess Square Healthcare Centre.
Born in Canton, Ohio, on April 1, 1928 to Vincenzo and Maria Mazzetti, she later married Duilio Sorini and raised two children.
Ms. Sorini is survived by her husband; her children, Paulette Sorini and Ron Sorini; her daughter-in-law, Desiree Tucker; her grandchildren, Jeff Pigatto, Dana Sharrett, Kirk Pigatto, Christopher Sorini, Leah Sorini and Marissa Sorini; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on July 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 31st St. in Brookfield and on July 9 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
