The Riverside-Brookfield High School Traffic and Parking Review Committee, established in April to address traffic and parking concerns at the school, is inviting residents to its next meeting, which will be held on Wednesday, July 13 at 7 p.m. in the William Lehotsky Room on the second floor of the high school, 160 Ridgewood Road in Riverside.
The Traffic and Parking review committee includes officials from the Riverside and Brookfield police departments, Riverside-Brookfield High School, the Riverside Public Works Department and Brookfield Zoo. The committee also includes two residents.
The group has met once already and has implemented some changes, including stricter parking enforcement on Ridgewood Road in front of the school. The First Avenue crosswalks have also been re-striped.
Residents are welcome to provide additional input and join in the discussion of other issues at the July 13 meeting. Anyone interested in participating should enter the building through the new main entrance at the rear of the school on Golf Road.
