The Brookfield Kiwanis Club awarded college scholarships to four graduating high school seniors in June. The awards went to Lyons Township High School students Kristin DiMaggio and Constantina Savas and Riverside-Brookfield High School students Allison Hornung and Cassandra Vyhnanek.
The Kiwanis Club also awarded Outstanding Eighth-Grader certificates to Sarah Crosby, of St. Barbara School; Amanda Vyhnanek, of Gross Middle School; Rebecca Letcher, of St. Louise School; and James Ryckman, of Park Junior High.
Honored in the BUG (Bringing Up Grades) program was Gross Middle School seventh-grader Garrett Snyder.
