The Brookfield Jaycees open their 35th annual haunted house this week in Jaycee/Ehlert Park. This year’s edition – “Carn-evil of Chaos” – opens Thursday, Oct. 13 and runs every Thursday through Sunday through Halloween.

Hours are from 7 to 10 p.m. on Thursday and Sundays, and from 7 to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturday. The haunted house will also be open on Monday, Oct. 31 from 7 to 10 p.m.

On Saturday, Oct. 15, there will be a special appearance by TV’s Svengoolie, who will sign autographs from 8 to 10 p.m. In addition LifeSource will be conducting a blood drive that night. To pre-register for the blood drive contact email to either tkivipaw@hotmail.com or tooterssmurf2@hotmail.com. You’ll get $1 off admission if you donate blood.

Saturday, Oct. 22nd will be RBHS Student Night. Admission is $5 with a valid school ID. Tarot card readings by Tina Marie are available for $10 every evening.

Tickets are $7. Visitors can get $1 off admission every night if they bring a non-perishable food item. The haunted house is located in Jaycee/Ehlert Park, 4315 Park Ave. in Brookfield.
