Edward William Frintner III, 78, of LaGrange and formerly of Brookfield, died Oct. 23, 2011.
Born in Chicago on Feb. 1, 1933, Mr. Frintner served in the armed services during the Korean War. Following the war, he worked as an iron worker in the ornamental iron industry and was a member of Iron Workers Local #63.
Mr. Frintner is survived by his wife, Alberta Frintner (nee Ilg); his children, Linda (Dean) Cada, Judy Frintner, Sharon (Paul) Ranieri, Steven (Mary) Frintner, David (Mary Pat) Frintner and Joan Timberlake; his grandchildren, Kellene (Matthew) O’Connell, Katie (Jeff) Thiede, DeeDee Cada, Adam (Michelle) Kranz, Daniel Ranieri, Reese Timberlake, Jack Timberlake, Michael Frintner, Megan Frintner, Sean Frintner, Nora Frintner and Carly Frintner; his great-grandchildren, Brady O’Connell, August Thiede and Brake Kranz; and many siblings, nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 27 at St. John of the Cross Church in Western Springs. Interment was private.
