Many thanks for the Senior Zoo Day 2011 from all of the seniors.
We all had a fun ride on the tram where we were given a history of the Brookfield Zoo and all the animals since 1934. On to the dolphin show and their fabulous trainers, who taught all the dolphins cute little tricks. Fish were their rewards.
Back to Riverside Town Hall for a Chinese lunch donated by Chef Shangri-La – delicious – topped off by bingo and blood pressure checked by Dr. Bob Novak, all free.
What a fabulous day provided by Cook County Commissioner Jeffrey Tobolski, Riverside President Michael Gorman and Riverside Township Supervisor Richard Tuscher.
