Vivian A. Moticka (nee Charvat), 93, died Oct. 30, 2011 at her home.
Ms. Moticka was born in Chicago on May 14, 2918 to John and Mayme “Mary” Charvat. She married Edward C. Moticka, who preceded his wife in death; the couple raised four children. She was active for more than 64 years as a member of the First Congregational church, United Church of Christ in Brookfield.
She is survived by her children, Mary-Ann (the late Glenn) Hudson, Edward J. (Jane Adrian) Moticka, Joan (Michael) McGrath and John (Judy) Moticka; her grandchildren, Colleen (Daniel) Angaiak, Jeffrey McGrath, Thomas (Challe) Hudson, Juli Anna (Michael) Moticka Beddows, Anthony Hoegl, Paul Hudson, Gabrielle (Karl) Moticka Kiessling, James Hoegl, Danielle (Spencer) Moticka Lock, Donald Moticka, David Larsen, Eric Larsen, Julianne Moticka and Madeline Moticka; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Ms. Moticka was also preceded in death by her siblings, Melvin (Gertrude) Charvat and Marian Charvat.
A funeral service was held Nov. 3 at Hitzeman Funeral Home in Brookfield, followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park.
