The Mater Christi Holy Name Society will host its annual Turkey Shoot on Sunday, Nov. 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Menarik Hall at the school, 2400 10th Ave. in North Riverside.
Turkeys will be raffled off every five minutes. Hams, prasky, salami, bread, pumpkin pie, houska and other grocery items will also be raffled off. In addition, there will be split-the-pot raffles and pull tabs with cash prizes.
Refreshments, including hot dogs, chips, pumpkin pie, beer, wine, soda and coffee will be available for purchase and several TV screens will be tuned in to NFL football action.
