If you and your family have what it takes to be a champion gingerbread house architect, be sure to enter the Riverside Recreation Department’s Gingerbread House Contest, which will be held on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 1:30 p.m. at the recreation offices at the downtown water tower, 10 Pine Ave. in Riverside.
Each family will receive a gingerbread house kit and decorating materials. Teams will have one hour to create their masterpiece and families will vote for their favorite houses. The winner receives a $50 Parks and Recreation Department gift certificate.
