Vera “Veronika” Roder, 66, of Darien and formerly of Riverside, died Dec. 2, 2011, a day short of her 67th birthday.
She was the mother of Michelle (Michael) Zita and Mark Roder and the grandmother of Isabella and Ryan Zita.
The family held a memorial gathering Dec. 9 at Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home in Riverside.
