Marie M. Foster, 97, a longtime resident of Brookfield, died Dec. 17, 2011 at her home.
Ms. Foster lived in Brookfield since 1942 and was an active member of St. Barbara Parish, where she belonged to the Council of Catholic Women, the Seniors Club and the Resurrection Singers choir. She enjoyed socializing with her many friends.
She was preceded in death in 1982 by her husband, Arthur J. Foster, and by her son, Arthur D. Foster.
Ms. Foster is survived by her son, Greg (Andrea) Foster, and her grandchildren, Rana Foster, Grant Foster and Donna (Paul) Hegarty.
A funeral Mass was held Dec. 20 at St. Barbara Church in Brookfield, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
