Fueled by freshman Kelsy Kurfirst, who won every event en route to the top all-around score, the Lions claimed their regional title with a score of 144.35 followed by Naperville Central (138.075) and Naperville North (132.80).

Kurfirst (38.10 all-round) swept top honors with wins in the vault (9.725), uneven parallel bars (9.5), balance beam (9.375), and floor (9.5). Junior Maren Craig took second place all-round (36.25), powered by runner-up efforts in the vault with a 9.375 and beam with a 9.35, and also top five performances in the bars and floor.

Other advancing gymnasts included: Allison Struck in the vault with a 9.175 (fifth place), Kelly Ryser in bars with a 8.675 (third) and Kalen Iffert in floor with a 9.050 (third).
