Lyda Maye Larmer (nee Hutchens), 83, of Ina, Ill., died Feb. 12, 2012 at her home.
Ms. Larmer was born on Oct. 24, 1928 to George Riley and Ferne (nee Pearce) Hutchens. She married Duane Stanley “Dick” Larmer on June 23, 1951 in Wilson, Kan. Mr. Larmer preceded his wife in death on Nov. 27, 2009.
She is survived by her daughter, Tana (Craig) Strauss, of Brookfield; her son, David (Ann Marie) Larmer, of Aurora; her grandchildren, Paul (Julie) Strauss, Sara (Damien) Eftekhar, Matthew Strauss and Mark Strauss; her great-grandchildren, Joshua Strauss, Madeline Strauss, Hannah Eftekhar, Simeon Eftekhar, Asher Eftekhar, Benjamin Eftekhar and Judah Eftekhar; her sister, Barbara Greenwood; and her brothers, Billy Hutchens, Andy Hutchens and Larry Hutchens.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Feb. 15 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16 at the Whittington Baptist Church. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery in Ina.
