Jaime Jones lost a state finals preliminary bout 11-6 to Michael Paloian of Loyola on Thursday in the Class 3A Individual State Wrestling Meet at the University of Illinois in Champaign. Making his second straight state appearance, Jones had a stellar season. He finished 26-9, including a sectional runner-up finish to eventual state champion Sammy Brooks of Oak Park.
