Alyce N. Dougherty (nee Jukich), 85, of Plainfield and formerly of Brookfield and New Port Richey, Fla., died Feb. 26, 2012 at Meadowbrook Manor Nursing Home in Bolingbrook.
She was born in Evanston on March 5, 1926 to Stephen and Harriett (nee Steinborn) Jukich. She married Joseph Dougherty and worked as an assembly for a manufacturing company.
Mr. Dougherty preceded his wife in death. Ms. Dougherty is survived by her daughters, Kathryn (the late Kenneth) Wilson and Patricia (Steve) Asztalos; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Private funeral services and burial were in Florida.
Hitzeman Funeral Home, Brookfield, handled arrangements.
