John D. Caron, 82, of New Auburn, Wis., and Riverside, died Feb. 19, 2012.
Mr. Caron was born on Jan. 13, 1930. He was an honorary member of the Chicago Board of Trade and was an experienced pilot, expert fisherman, adept carpenter, talented painter and a collector of rare vehicles.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Morelli and her children, Katie Juckniess, Wendy Morelli and Frederick (Angela) Juckniess, and her grandson, Jackson Thor. He is also survived by his daughter, Mollie (Donley) Cronkhite; his grandchildren, Joshua, Jason, Katie (Brian) Prosser, Dalton, Olivia, Candice, John and Jasmine; and his sister, Gloria Lucey.
Mr. Caron was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Caron, and his brother, Ron Caron.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. with services at 6:30 p.m. at Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home, 80 E. Burlington St., Riverside.
