Riverside resident Rahul Bhatia, M.D., has joined the Loyola University Health System pediatric critical care team, bringing his expertise to the care of children facing difficult medical challenges in the pediatric intensive care unit. He is also an assistant professor of pediatrics at Loyola University’s Stritch School of Medicine.
Dr. Bhatia’s professional interests include acute lung injury, how the stress of critical illness impacts the body and simulation in pediatric critical care.
“It is an honor to take care of critically ill children and be part of their families during difficult times,” said Bhatia in a press release.
Prior to coming to Loyola, Dr. Bhatia was assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison.
