The Lions rallied for a 2-1 win over Lincoln-Way North on Saturday. Trailing 1-0 at halftime, LT (3-0-1) drew even at 1-1 when Emily Lange scored a goal off a throw-in five minutes into the first half.
Senior midfielder Sarah Mazur netted the game-winning goal off an assist from Lange in the 35th minute of the second half.
Jessica Bean scored Lincoln-Way North’s lone goal on a penalty kick after an LT player was cited for a hand ball. The Lions host York in a West Suburban Silver showdown this week.
