Grace Cairo (nee Berardi), 86, of Riverside, died May 11, 2012.
Ms. Cairo was born on Nov. 27, 1925 and later married Frank Cairo, who preceded his wife in death.
She was the mother of William Cairo, Patrick Cairo, Frank (Janet) Cairo Jr., Jimmy (Marie) Cairo and Maryann (Mike) Zezulak; the grandmother of Candice Gessler, Christina (Derek) Gessler, Frank Cairo III, Anna Cairo, Grace Cairo, Christina Zezulak, Mike Zezulak Jr. and the late Joyce Ann Zezulak; the great-grandmother of Dylan and Madysen; the sister of James (Dina) Berardi, Jane (Vito) Ventrella, the late Anna (Frank) Mancini and the late Gaetano (the late Antoinette) Berardi and the aunt to many.
A funeral Mass was celebrated May 15 at St. Mary Church in Riverside, followed by entombment at All Saints Mausoleum in Des Plaines.
