George J. Voller, 92, a longtime resident of Brookfield, died June 13, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Voller served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. On June 7, 1948, he married Helen C. Hrupek at Queen of Heaven Church in Cicero. And in 1958, the couple moved to Brookfield, where they would remain.

For more than 20 years, Mr. Voller was officer manager at Walworth Co. in Chicago and worked for 10 years as the officer manager at Midland Pipe Co. He retired in 1985.

Mr. Voller also enjoyed golfing, watching the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs on TV and going ballroom dancing with his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Helen C. Voller (nee Hrupek); his children, William A. Voller and Cathy (Joseph) Mangold; his grandson, Karl (Maria) Mangold; his great-grandchildren, Elena and Charles; and his brother, William Voller.

A funeral Mass was celebrated June 16 at St. Barbara Church in Brookfield, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
