Jerry J. Holy, 91, of North Riverside, died June 11, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Holy was born Aug. 4, 1920 in Mosinee, Wis., to August and Julia (nee Cipek) Holy. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was employed as an electrician for the International Harvester Co. until his retirement.
He was the husband of the late Emily Holy (nee Pompe); the father of Jerry (Sylvia) Holy and the late Patricia Holy; and the grandfather of Jessica Holy, Jerry M. Holy, Joshua Holy and Ciarra Dobson.
A funeral Mass was celebrated June 15 at Mater Christi Church in North Riverside, followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park.
