Joseph J. Hipsman, 91, of North Riverside, died July 2, 2012 at Beechwood Manor at Bethlehem Woods in LaGrange Park.
Mr. Hipsman served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. After the war, he worked as printer at Ampehnol Corporation in Broadview prior to his retirement.
He was the husband of the late Lucille Hipsman (nee Kestl); the father of JoAnn (Vincent) Marra and Carol (Mark) King; the grandfather of seven; the great-grandfather of 15; and the brother of the late John (Joyce) Hipsman.
A funeral Mass was celebrated July 6 at Mater Christi Church in North Riverside, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
